The Lounge is located on our lower level and accessible by a secret staircase at the back of the Parlor, as well as a private street-level entrance.

The Parlor

Also known as the “Back Room,” the Parlor can be reserved for parties of up to 40 guests as long as you begin your reservation at 7pm or earlier. Grab your drinks at the bar in the Main Room and head to the Parlor for gatherings large and small, for privacy, cozy seats and dim lights.

Try a Wine Tour or Cocktail Class!

Available for groups of 10 - 15 people.

Perfect for birthday parties, showers, special events, and any and all gatherings for family & friends.

Wine Tour

Hosted by Charles von Herrlich, our co-owner & wine expert, wine tours are more party than tour. Charles has been studying wines for purchase and pleasure for over two decades. With his trusty sidekick, he will present a delightful, entertaining class, that includes 5 - 8 tastings, pairings and a take-home quiz!

Cocktail Class

During this fun and informative 2-hour class, one of our expert bartenders will teach you the art of crafting fine cocktails. You will learn the pillars of cocktail preparation: proportion, precision, dilution, and presentation. We will build a minimum of 3 cocktails each, taking time to understand the ingredients and why and how they are blended; to measure precisely using jiggers and spoons; to mix properly by stirring, or shaking; and finally how and why to garnish.

Bowery Gothic

Inspired by a reading series at a haunted bar on the Bowery (you know the one), Bowery Gothic is a literary journal that explores the sublimity of terror. We publish stories—both real and imagined—that exist in that liminal space between the seen and unseen, between entertainment and fear.

Read Bowery Gothic today.

Stand at the threshold. Look into the unknown.

Bowery Gothic hosts readings of our featured authors throughout the year. Look for us on socials and BlueSky for upcoming event deatils and calls for submissions.
